Description
Halloween in Whitby. DCI Jim Oldroyd's daughter, Louise, is in town for a goth festival. Their escape room visit turns to horror when one of the group stabs his girlfriend and flees. Three witnesses saw the act. But Louise refuses to believe what she saw. Oldroyd and DS Carter are called in. Louise assists, but the closer they look, the more deceit they uncover. This is no simple crime of passion. A violent killer is loose. They will strike again. This time, it's personal.
