He tattoos thousands of arms, imprinting one of the most potent symbols of the Holocaust onto their skin, but also finding a purpose beyond mere survival.
Based on years of interviews with Holocaust survivor Ludwig (Lale) Sokolov, this is a vivid, harrowing, and ultimately hopeful recreation of his experiences. It is an unforgettable love story and a testament to the endurance of love and humanity under the darkest possible conditions.
