Description
In a secluded garden, a man known as the Gardener cultivates a collection of young women, each kidnapped and tattooed to resemble the butterflies they are named after. He is a brutal figure, obsessed with preserving his captives. When this horrific garden is discovered, agents Victor Hanoverian and Brandon Eddison are called to investigate what is quickly becoming one of the most disturbing cases of their careers. Their only witness is a survivor, a girl called Maya, who is as mysterious as the crimes themselves.
As Maya begins to recount her story, the agents uncover a tangled narrative of old resentments, unexpected allies, and the chilling lengths to which the Gardener went to keep his 'specimens.'
