Description
An elderly man sits with his grandson, Noah, on a bench in a shrinking, round square. The space is filled with remnants of their lives: a work desk, a stuffed dragon, the scent of hyacinths Grandma loved. As they wait, they share jokes and discuss math. Grandpa remembers falling in love, losing his wife. He dreads the day his memories fade completely. Sometimes, Noah's father, Ted, joins them. Ted, who always wanted his father's time, finds common ground with Grandpa in their love for Noah. Here, in this dimming, confusing space, they will learn to say goodbye.
